PLAYERS: Scott Downs
TEAMS: Toronto Blue Jays

Jeff Blair is a sports columnist for The Globe and Mail, and he saying the Yanks are interested in Toronto's Scott Downs. Here's what he posted on his Twitter page tonight (hat-tip to MLB Trade Rumors):"Weird. Got e-mail from guy I trust telling me Yanks looking at Downs. Yikes!"According to Bob Elliot of The Toronto Sun (another hat-tip to MLBTR) the Yankees had scouts at tonight's Blue Jays game to watch Halladay. Maybe they were hoping to get a glimpse of Downs as well.Downs is definitely a guy that would help the Yankees. A lot. For the right price I'd love to see him in pinstripes. What about you?
