According to David Kaplan, Chicago TV and radio broadcaster, Chicago Cubs pitcher Ted Lilly is headed to the DL. He had some insight into Lilly's arthrogram that took place on Friday.

It appears the only thing impeding the Cubs' chances of making a run at the National League Central title is the highly contagious injury bug they just can't seem to shake. From Aramis Ramirez to Ryan Dempster to Geovany Soto to Ted Lilly, injuries certainly have been a factor. It's a good thing for the Cubs that their rookies continue to step in and contribute.
