Joel Zumaya pitched two scoreless innings yesterday, allowing one hit, strinking out three, hovering around 101 m.p.h., spinning "beautiful curveballs," and getting the win. He's struck out twice as many batters as he's given up hits. Interestingly, Zumaya has made some adjustments in his mechanics recently, based on feedback from his pitching coach.
