Provisional rosters for the March’s World Baseball Classic were officially released on Thursday, with the A’s and Giants having one and nine players, respectively, named to participate.
Lefty reliever Pedro Figueroa will play for the Dominican Republic as the lone member of the A’s to take part in the international tournament.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the Bay, the Giants will be much better represented. Here are their nine representatives:
