A Quick Hypocritical Observation for NY Fans

I just had to get this quick little thought off of my head why it was still fresh.... So I'm sitting here having my morning coffee when I hear on Sportscenter that Chuck Knoblauch is being subpoenaed by the House Committee for their steroid investigation. I suddenly think back to week one of the NFL when many New York fans, both of the Giants and Jets, were bashing the New England Patriots really hard about the "Spygate" cheating scandal. Even going as far as to mentioning how their three Superbowl victories should be taken away. So here is my thought.... It seems as though every time another name comes out in the whole MLB steroid drama that they have had Yankee ties. Now I'm neither a Patriot fan or a Yankee hater, but maybe just maybe those four World Series titles during the "Steroid Era" in the 90's should have an asterix. Roger Clemens Andy Pettitte Chuck Knoblauch Kevin Brown Jason Giambi Jason Grimsley Glenallen Hill Darren Holmes Jose Canseco David Justice Riccky Bones Hal Morris Josias Manzanillo Daniel Naulty Denny Neagle Gary Sheffield Mike Stanton Randy Velarde Ron Villone Rondell White Todd Williams That's 21 players, far more than any other ball club in baseball. Granted all of these players did not play an important role in the Yankees Championships or were even on some of those title winning teams, but it seems like the pot calling the kettle black when I hear New York fans ripping on New England for cheating.
