The disturbing allegations of PED usage are just getting worse and more detailed for Alex Rodriguez. By now this story has been covered by almost every angle and in most cases it feels like we are in a space-time continuum that has warped us back to 2005. At this point fans of Alex Rodriguez and the Yankees don’t need to hear an apology, they don’t need to hear agents or PR reps, they just need to hear the truth. ARod is currently leading or tied for the lead in the three major baseball hitting categories amongst active players for their career. ESPN’s Outside the Lines has quoted their sources that have information on Alex Rodriguez doses and visits. Those details can be seen below: The texts, the source said, usually came late at night, telling Anthony Bosch to come to the house. Bosch would then head to the waterfront mansion on Biscayne Bay, through the gate on North Bay Road, to inject performance-enhancing drugs into Alex Rodriguez. Procedures were different, though, sources told “Outside the Lines,” for the other athletes who were customers of Bosch’s Biogenesis of America clinic in Coral Gables, which Major League Baseball considers the center of a widespread doping operation in South Florida. Those athletes, sources said, relied on intermediaries to transport the performance-enhancing drug regimens Bosch provided. But for A-Rod, the service was always personal: “Only Tony handled A-Rod,” one source told “Outside the Lines.” Those details don’t bring anything new to the world of PEDs and their usage in baseball. The “Steroid Era” isn’t over in baseball and it’s likely that the game will never be “pure” again. Medicine will forever be one step ahead of the MLB and it’s up to future generations to determine whether they value on-field production more than baseball purity. Suspensions can be handed out if they make Major League Baseball feel better about itself, but fans don’t see any benefits from not having their favorite player on the field. Fans deserve the truth from these players, both the clean and the dirty ones. If a player is caught they owe the fans an honest explanation, they owe the club an apology, and the league nothing. A league that has been built on the circumvention of the rules since it’s inception. Whether it has been Spitballs, gambling, or the rampant use of Amphetamines; baseball has had an ugly checkered past and PEDs is just the newest evolution. Alex Rodriguez and players of this generation shouldn’t fear the truth. The lies are what creates a negative perception of them by the younger generations, generations that openly disregards baseball purity, Generations that will ultimately decide their legacy.

Clinic head injected A-Rod with PEDs?

Reports now allege that Anthony Bosch, the director of the Biogenesis clinic in Miami, would travel to Alex Rodriguez's home and personally inject him with PEDs.

Yankees’ Alex Rodriguez injected by clinic operator

New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez was injected with performance-enhancing drugs as recently as last spring by Anthony Bosch, operator of the now-infamous Biogenesis of America clinic in south Florida, according to an “Outside the Lines” report. The texts, the source said, usually came late at night, telling Anthony Bosch to come to the house. Bosch would...

Yankees rumors: Voiding Alex Rodriguez’s contract unrealistic?

There has been speculation that the New York Yankees will attempt to void third baseman Alex Rodriguez’s remaining contract due to use of performance-enhancing drugs and his hip injury. However, the team knows there is little chance of voiding Rodriguez’s contract, an act termed “unrealistic” by David Waldstein of The New York Times. The Yankees can dream of getting...

More Disappointment for MLB: Anthony Bosch Reportedly Injected Alex Rodriguez With PEDs

The news just gets more and more disappointing for baseball fans. We recently learned of a big doping lab in Miami, Florida. Today, a report from ESPN says that Biogenesis boss Anthony Bosch personally injected Alex Rodriguez with performance-enhancing drugs. According to the report, Rodriguez got personal treatment - secretive...

A-Rod's Career With the Yanks, MLB May Be in Jeopardy

New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez is unlikely to play for the Yankees this season and possibly beyond, according to the New York Daily News. No matter what happens with Rodriguez's new steroid allegations, the Yankees may just cut ties with the beleaguered third baseman. According to numerous sources, A-Rod's hip injury could derail his career and could limit...

A-Rod = cheating, lying

I feel pretty bad for Natasha and Ella Rodriguez these days.   The daughters of Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez probably don’t know much about what’s going on with dear ol’ dad. Good thing, too. Imagine what lessons they’d be learning if they were still living with him:   “Now girls, it’s OK to cheat, especially [...]

Alex Rodriguez Accused Of Not Cheating Well

On Tuesday, the Miami New Times reported that Alex Rodriguez had been receiving performance enhancing drugs from a wellness clinic in Miami, Florida. This really blows if you are a New York Yankee fan because that means you have to defend the Yankees’ 2009 World Series championship against people that will say it was tainted. It also blows because A-Rod has definitely not been...

A-Rod reportedly received injections from Anthony Bosch

Alex Rodriguez is denying allegations that he received performance-enhancing drugs from Anthony Bosch’s Biogenesis company, but the evidence against him is mounting. On Tuesday, the Miami New Times reported that A-Rod was one of many MLB players who ordered performance-enhancing drugs (in many cases testosterone) from the now-defunct Biogenesis company. Their report was based on...

What Is the Fallout from MLB's "East Coast BALCO"?

This note from Tony Bosch's ledger appears to show Alex Rodriguez using PEDs It may have been a story that had its beginnings with Manny Ramirez in 2004. At the time, the former slugger who was then with the Dodgers, had a drug testing sample come up with high levels of testosterone. Upon further testing it was found that he had been using  human chorionic gonadotropin...

Understanding the Business of Baseball: Insurance on Player Contracts

The business of baseball is a lot tougher to grasp than the dynamics of “on-the-field” play. As fans, we look at the end result of every decision made. Did he sign? Who did we trade? When was he drafted? Rarely do we get to see what happens behind closed doors. Recently, the injury of Alex Rodriguez has brought about questions regarding the insurance of a player’s contract...

The Best Move The Red Sox Never Made: A-Rod

A-Rod Faces Media I don’t spend much time defending the New York Yankees. As a Boston Red Sox fan, I readily yell “Yankees S***!” at Fenway Park. I think the Yankee organization is actually evil incarnate: that those who wear pinstripes to play baseball are inherently the devils of the diamond. I think that Aaron Boone has an unmentionable middle name, and that Johnny Damon...

Team USA Full of Talent and Inspiration, Prepares for Deaf Olympics (Video)

With the latest sports news focusing on the Alex Rodriguez and Lance Armstrong scandals, it is refreshing to hear of a group of local hockey players who share an inspiring story. While most of us tend to take for granted the sounds of hockey, the men of Team USA preparing to play in this April’s Deaf Olympic Games, have developed their own ways to succeed. Some of New England...

Travis Hafner Will Be the Latest Vet to Revive Career With The Yankees

So is anyone sick of talking about Alex Rodriguez yet? Since the answer to that question is probably yes, here is some more Yankee news that should interest fans.  On Thursday, the Yankees and former Cleveland Indian Travis Hafner agreed to a one year deal worth about $2 million which could turn to $4 million based on plate appearances.  Hafner is expected to fill the role that...
