The American League Wild Card spots are coming down to the wire with only 2 games remaining in the season. Currently the Tampa Bay Rays and the upbeat Cleveland Indians are tied for the 2 wild card spots with perennial playoff contender Texas Rangers a game back. If you are into betting baseball there are some meaningful games to quench your gambling thirst this weekend. The Rays are currently 90-7o with their final two games against the bottom feeding Toronto Blue Jays. The Rays have fared well against the Jays this season posting a 10-7 record in 17 meetings however fell to R.A. Dickey and company in the series opener. The Rays will send Chris Archer to the mound against J.A. Happ in the game two matinee Saturday afternoon. Archer is 3-3 in his last 10 starts with a 4.01 earned run average. In the season finale the Rays will have Matt Moore opposite Todd Redmond in what is sure to be a must win contest. The Indians are also 90-70 and only the lowly Minnesota Twins stand in-between...
