I feel a little silly since Alfredo Amezaga was one of the players I was promoting to help fill-in while Beltran was gone, I hadn't realized he was injured.Amezaga had micro-fracture surgery in July and is just now being cleared to start running, reportedly he will work out for multiple teams at the end of the week.If healthy he could fill in for any of the players who were injured last year as well as play a role off the bench.I'm not sure if the Mets will take a risk on anyone who needs the title "if healthy", I'm still thinking Cory Sullivan might be there best option as the fourth outfielder...Amezaga, 31, underwent microfracture surgery on his left knee last July and was non-tendered by the Marlins last month. The Marlins remain interested in re-signing the versatile utility man, however he is expected to entertain offers from any and all teams after holding a workout later this week. source Rotoworld
