An Open Letter To Double E (Edwin Encarnacion)

First off let me say that I have been one of your harshest critics. All of that came from a place of endearment.  You see, I really do like you Edwin.  I have become so use to you that I feel like you are 30 or 31. I ask you to forgive me for any hurtful words I may have shot your way. It seems that everyone let you go without any fanfare or props whatsoever.  How all too quickly we seem to forget. Sure you have been on the DL much of the year, but jeez, you lead the Reds in home runs last year. Not Bruce, not Votto, not Brandon. That title was all yours , sir. My biggest complaint about you is the glove. I know your hitting will come around until 35 HR is the expected measure of your power. You make plays that will dazzle anyone's highlight reel, yet at other times you foul up plays that I could probably make (not really). Your 162- game averages are not that bad either; 22 HR, 83 RBI, .262 BA. I think that is better numbers than Luis Aparacio went into the Hall ...
