The words Hall of Famer and high ceiling usually followed in the descriptions of Andy Marte and his baseball talents.

Today, the only time you will see those terms and Marte's name in the same description are either dated with the year 2005 or 2006.

To say that Marte fell from grace would be a bit of a false statement considering he never really had a spot to fall from. Marte was a heralded prospect, but he never established himself at the game's top level
