There probably isn’t a more thrilling way to win a baseball game than a walk-off home run.
Angel Pagan did just that for the San Fransisco Giants on Saturday — and he upped the excitement ante. In the bottom of the tenth inning against the Rockies, the Giants rallied to end the game at AT&T Park. With a runner on base, Pagan nailed a drive that sent the ball caroming off of base of the right-center fence and out of the reach of right fielder Michael Cuddyer.
Pagan did his best Usain Bolt impression by speeding around the bases and sliding into home safely to cap off the first walk-off inside-the-park home run since June 12, 2004.
