According to Aaron Gleeman of NBCSports.com, veteran catcher Henry Blanco has declined his half of the $1.5 million option he had with the Diamondbacks.
The 40-year old catcher will be a free agent. Blanco hit .250/.330/.540 with 8 HR's and 12 RBI;s in 100 AB's with the Diamondbacks in 2011.
