Grossman homered again this week.

The Arizona Fall League wrapped up their fifth week of action.  Here is how the Pirates prospects have done so far:

-Robbie Grossman: .370/.471/.630, 7 HR, 100 at-bats

Grossman added another home run this week, and went 5-for-16 with a home run and three walks.  He played in the Rising Stars game on Saturday and went 0-for-3 with a walk and a strikeout.

-Jarek Cunningham: .243/.300/.457, 3 HR, 70 at-bats

Cunningham only played twice this week, going 2-for-6 with a double and a walk.

-Brock Holt: .188/.381/.188, 0 HR, 16 at-bats

Holt only played in one game this week, going 1-for-3 with a walk and an RBI.

-Gerrit Cole: 12.0 IP, 8 H, 5 R, 4 ER 3 BB, 12 K, 1 HR

Cole made a start on Monday, going three innings, allowing one run on three hits with no walks and three strikeouts.  The one run came on a solo home run.  Cole started the Rising Stars game on Saturday, and had a rough outing.  He gave up two home runs and ended up getting hit for five earned runs in 0.2 innings.  Cole threw 29 pitches, 16 for strikes, with seven of those pitches clocked at 99 MPH.

-Michael Colla: 13.0 IP, 9 H, 8 R, 7 ER, 10 BB, 9 K, 2 HR

Colla pitched a perfect inning on Monday, but was hit hard on Thursday.  He gave up two runs on a hit and three walks, with the one hit being a home run.  Walks have been a big issue for Colla, which is strange after he allowed just 39 walks in 133.2 innings at the AA level in 2011.

-Nathan Baker: 11.1 IP, 19 H, 10 R, 10 ER, 9 BB, 13 K, 0 HR

Baker pitched the same days as Colla, and had similar results.  On Monday he threw a shutout inning, allowing a walk and a hit, and striking out three.  On Thursday he was roughed up, throwing one inning, and allowing three runs on four hits and four walks, with one strikeout.

-Jeff Inman: 4.1 IP, 4 H, 5 R, 5 ER, 1 BB, 2 K, 1 HR

Continuing the trend, Inman pitched twice, with a good outing on Monday and a bad outing on Thursday.  Inman threw a perfect inning with a strikeout on Monday.  On Thursday he came on for the save, but gave up two runs on a walk and a hit in one inning.  He left with a tie score, and picked up the win when Mesa scored in the bottom of the ninth.
