Bryson Myles (LF, Carolina): 3-for-5, 2 R, 1 2B, 1 HR, 5 RBI, 1 SB
Now this is everything you could want out of Myles. The power-speed combination has tantalized fans for years to no avail. Coming into 2013, Myles had only hit four home runs in 152 games, well short of his potential. Fully healthy for the first time, though, Myles has come out of the gate strong with the Mudcats, starting the year 8-for-19 with three extra base hits and two steals. The mantra early in the season is "small sample size," but it has to be encouraging to see Myles fulfilling his potential early on in 2013.
Francisco Lindor (SS, Carolina): 3-for-6, 2 R, 1 3B, 1 RBI, 1 PO
