Around the Farm (ATF) takes a quick look at some of the daily performances by Indians prospects. This is a special fall and winter ball version of ATF that recaps all the offseason action by Indians players in the Arizona Fall League and the Caribbean Leagues.  The positions listed below are where the player was playing in the game. Arizona Fall League Tyler Naquin (CF): 1-for-3, R, 2 BB. Another good night from Naquin who reached base in 3 of his 4 plate appearances. The 2 walks are nice to see as the Indians would like to see an uptick in his walk rate to go along with a downward tick in his strikeout rate. Shawn Armstrong (RP): 1.0 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 1 K. Armstrong threw a scoreless inning in his fourth outing in the AFL, though he was only 10-for-19 with his strikes in the game and now has 4 walks in his 4.0 innings of work. Dominican Winter League Erik Gonzalez (SS, Leones del Escogido): 0-for-4, K. Gonzalez started his second straight game to open the winter ball season and w...

2013 Cleveland Indians Power Rankings

I wanted to take a few weeks and step back before I made this list. The Indians successful 92 win Wild Card season in Terry Francona’s first year at the helm. It left us all wanting more.
