OAKLAND, Calif. -- The Oakland Athletics continue to be the hottest team in baseball. Even the mighty New York Yankees are not enough to intimidate them. Brandon Moss singled to right in the bottom of the ninth Friday for the Athletics' 10th walk-off win of the season as Oakland beat New York 3-2. It was Oakland's fifth walk-off win in its past nine home games. Rookie Yoenis Cespedes had a career-high four hits, and Josh Reddick was 3-for-5 with two doubles. Jemile Weeks and Brandon Inge also drove in runs for the A's, who are a major league best 12-2 in July. Rookie Tommy Milone pitched seven scoreless innings, allowing only six hits while recording a career-high 10 strikeouts. He lowered his home ERA to 0.91. Ivan Nova pitched 6 2/3 innings for the Yankees, scattering nine hits and two runs. He walked one and struck out six.
