Oakland Athletics third baseman Scott Sizemore will miss the entire 2012 season after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee on Saturday. Sizemore suffered the injury during Oakland's first full-squad workout. He underwent an MRI on Monday that revealed the severity of the injury. Sizemore, who was expected to be a starter, arrived in Oakland last May following a trade from Detroit. The 27-year-old batted .249 with 52 RBIs in 93 games with the A's.
