White Sox Rumors: Chicago Ready to Sell

June 25: White Sox 5 Mets 4

A two out error by second basemen Gordon Beckham cost Addison Reed (3-0) a blown save, and once again prohibited starter Chris Sale from earning his sixth victory. However, it did not cost the White Sox the game. Alexei Ramirez came to the rescue in the bottom of the ninth with a two out single, scoring Jeff Keppinger, to win the game in walk off fashion. Game Preview: Mets @ White Sox

The Mets travel to the South Side of Chicago for Wheeler Day! The Mets are coming off of a needed off day after pounding the Phillies in an 8-0 win. Harvey was great pitching 6 shutout innings (he was stopped by the rain, but really he was stopped by the umpires who were stopped by the rain) and David Wright had himself a day going 4-5, 2 2B, 3B, HR. Today Wheeler looks to build...

Series Preview 26: Mets at White Sox

Well, now that the Blackhawks have won the Stanley Cup and completed an epic season in Chicago sports history, all that we have left is baseball. Unfortunately, the White Sox have not lived up to the standard their brethren on the ice have established.  They are coming off a series win in Kansas City though, so that’s something.  The Sox return home to Chicago...

June 26: Mets 3 White Sox 0

The White Sox offense may have reached a new low tonight, getting shutout by an 0-9 pitcher in Shaun Marcum. Also, the defense may have reached a new low, as they were pretty much solely responsible for all three Mets runs in the fifth inning. It was another tough one to swallow, and it seems like every time I write the game recap, that's the case. Maybe I'm bad...

Trading Vets Easier Said Than Done

With the White Sox in full meltdown mode, media, fans, and bloggers have started to speculate about which members of the Sox could be sent elsewhere in exchange for younger help.  With each passing day and the losses and errors mounting up, the Sox fan base seems ready to part with anyone and everyone not named Chris Sale.  Trading veterans for prospects seems to be what...
