Braves add outfielder and two pitchers to 40 man roster -
The Braves are trying to protect themselves from the upcoming Rule 5 draft. They added outfielder Matt Young and pitchers Randall Delgado and Cory Gearrin to their 40 man roster.

Frank Wren recently mentioned that Young could compete for a bench role with the 2011 season. He has had a great Fall with the Arizona Fall League.

Delgado is one of the best prospects in the Braves system. He looks like he could be ready to join the team by 2012.

Gearrin could compete for a bullpen spot in the Spring. He is a sidearmed pitcher.
