SCOTTSDALE, AZ - MARCH 16: Leftfielder Barry Bonds #25 of the San Francisco Giants poses for a photo on March 16, 2004 in Scottsdale Stadium in Scottsdale, Arizona. (Photo by: Robert Laberge/Getty Images)
Perhaps some cynics will watch this video that Barry Bonds recently taped with Bryan Stow's family and say it was an attempt to spur positive and image-rehabbing posts like this one. But remember: Back when it was announced that the former San Francisco Giants star was heading an attempt to pay for the Stow children's college fund, it was the family's attorney who publicized the gesture. Bonds himself never wanted  to be publicly lauded for his charity. So good on him for continuing to help out Bryan Stow and his family. There is definitely no questioning his motives here. In other great news, Stow is continuing to make strides in his recovery process and recently wrote his name. Here's to the support that everyone in the Giants and baseball community hasbeen providing and the heartwarming progress that has been following.
