As a member of the Baseball Bloggers Alliance (BBA) I have the opportunity every year around this time to vote for the BBA End Of Season Awards. The first award up for grabs, so to speak, is the Connie Mack Award For Top Manager.Since I blog mostly about the Yankees I'm only required to put together a ballot for the American League winner. Here is my ballot:1st Place: Buck Showalter, Baltimore Orioles2nd Place: Bob Melvin, Oakland Athletics3rd Place: Robin Ventura, Chicago White SoxI have heard the argument that Showalter and Melvin should share the award. However, Showalter had the Orioles playing well out of the gate, while the Athletics didn't really turn it on until the second half of the season. And, of course, Ventura's team couldn't close the deal when all was said and done.So that's my ballot. What do you think? Next award: The Willie Mays Award For Rookie Of The Year, coming up tomorrow.

Voting is fun and it certainly is much more favorable to not having a voice. That is true in our country as it is for these award selections. It is a privilege. What follows is this Fan's official BBA ballot and feel free to disagree...
