LOS ANGELES -- San Francisco Giants and former USC pitcher Randy Johnson became just the 24th player in Major League Baseball history to record 300 wins in his career as the Giants beat the Washington Nationals, 5-1, at Nationals Park. Johnson went six innings and allowed one unearned run on two hits with two walks and two strikeouts. Johnson (Livermore/Livermore HS) pitched three seasons at USC (1983-85), going 16-12 with a 4.66 ERA and five saves in 67 games for the Trojans. He threw 243 1/3 innings, allowing 225 hits with 188 walks and 206 strikeouts.
