Check out the dance routine this San Diego Padres minor league team’s ground crew performs mid-inning while taking care of the field. The self-proclaimed “Bad Apple Dancers” perform their routine for adoring fans at the class A Fort Wayne Tincaps games. While this dancing may be entertaining, I question how effectively these guys could maintain the infield when “getting down” to a horrible LMFAO song. Less dancing, more raking please!

Padres pitcher Dustin Moseley's right shoulder has ''extensive damage,'' according to San Diego manager Bud Black.
Moseley was placed on the 15-day disabled list on April 8 with a strained right shoulder, a day after allowing five runs against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Black said the damage was found by an MRI.
The right-hander had season-ending surgery on his...

San Diego Padres batting order 4/10/12 against the Arizona Diamondbacks:
NO GLOVE NEEDED
A man in the front row of the reporters booth behind home plate at Petco Park caught a foul ball Tuesday night as the San Diego Padres hosted the Arizona Diamondbacks. Your browser does not support iframes. It happened in the top of the fourth inning as Diamondbacks third baseman Ryan Roberts hit a high foul ball behind home plate. The man, with an MLB.com laptop, stood up to...
Padres Fall Short in Extra Innings 4-2
WP: Craig Breslow (1-0)
LP: Micah Owings (0-1)Save: JJ Putz (3)Homeruns - ARI: Chris Young (2)
7IP, 5H, 2ER, 8K, 3BB - Volquez got off to a rocky start and can thank Petco for helping him out along the way. It wasn't pretty, but Volquez was able to put together a solid outing and give the Padres a chance...
SAN DIEGO (AP) -- Chris Denorfia hit a two-run homer with one out in the eighth inning Wednesday that carried the San Diego Padres to a 2-1 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks, who had been the last unbeaten team in the major leagues.
Denorfia's clutch shot to straightaway center field -- his first of the season -- came on a 2-1 pitch from David Hernandez (0-1). Cameron Maybin...
San Diego had a chance in all three games to win, but totaled five runs in three games on only 17 hits, losing two of three from first place Arizona. The loss on Thursday night dropped them to 2-5 on the young season. The Padres will head up the 405 to Los Angeles to face the Dodgers in a three game series in Chavez Ravine. Below is a game by game account of San Diego’s final series...
The Arizona Diamondbacks are 4-0 for the first time their 14-year history. With Joe Saunders on the mound against the San Diego Padres, they have a good chance of improving that mark.
Saunders looks to build off last season's success against the Padres when the teams continue their three-game set Wednesday night at Petco Park.
Arizona is off to the best start in franchise history...
Jeff Moorad will not be owning the San Diego Padres. John Moores who has been working to sell the club, will have to hold on a bit longer and has put the club back up for sale. This time, given the marke,t he likely will not be holding onto the keys as long as he did with Moorad.
Moores, the Padres Chairman, made the announcement yesterday, that the current ownership group...
The Padres won for the second time this season yesteday. The pitching was stellar, but the offense (as usual) was not. As a team they are batting under .200. The only bright spot in the offense was Chris Denorfia's homerun in the bottom of the 8th to give the Padres the lead, and ultimately the win. Holding the Dbacks to 1 run is no easy feet, even in Petco, so kudos to the pitching...

Oh the woes of being a Padres fan. Just when you think the team is still in a game and can do something with their offense they throw it away. The pitching was there last night, the offense wasn't. One of the links below has the numbers on how well this team is hitting right now. Spolier alert: It's not good. They are being patient at the plate adding even more walks last...

Big day for Casey Kelly, but similar to Joe Saunders he left empty handed. Missions enjoyed a day of rest after a tough opening homestand. The Storm were joined by Mark Kotsay, who managed to lift the spirit but not help the team. Finally Fort Wayne ran into top draft pick Archie Bradley in a pitcher’s duel in South Bend.
