Brignac

This was a tough one, because the rule for being nominated to the annual Baseball’s Hottest Wives has always been that the couple must be married or engaged.  So, when Tampa Bay Rays infielder Reid Brignac, 26, and his girlfriend Lauren Anderson, 32,  got pregnant, we weren’t sure whether Anderson was eligible or not.

Here at Fantasy Baseball Dugout, however, we like to think of ourselves as being a progressive and open-minded organization that is understanding of all unique lifestyles.  So, based on the fact that the couple are together and have a child together, Reid Michael, we believe that is a committed relationship and should be respected, thus allowing Lauren to be entered as a nominee into the 2012 Baseball’s Hottest Wives competition.  Heck, we allowed Minka Kelly in last year and then she and Jeter called off the wedding plans.

Of course, for Lauren Anderson, it doesn’t hurt that you are a Playboy model (July 2002) as an added credential.

You can keep up with the baby plans on Lauren’s Twitter account.  Or, you can send the happy couple a baby gift since we found their baby register account.  A lot of items have already been purchased for the baby so be sure to pick something out soon.  I’m thinking of getting the 6 pack of white baby socks, because I know my baseball socks never really get clean in the washer.

Anderson is no stranger to athletes.  She dated University of Florida basketball star Matt Walsh while Walsh was playing for the Gators.  And, you can find a picture of Walsh and Anderson here where Anderson shows in her comment that even Playboy girls don’t think they look perfect.

Check out Lauren Anderson’s model page here.  We don’t publish nude photos here at Fantasy Baseball Dugout, but if you do a little Google searching, it won’t be hard to find more pictures of Lauren.
