If you're a baseball fan, chances are you've come across Batting Stance Guy before.
His actual name is Gar Ryness, but he's most famous under his moniker for, as described, immitating the batting stance of just about any Major League Baseball player. He also has a pretty hilarious Twitter account, and has garnered about 20,000 followers on the social networking service.
In the wake of the San Francisco Giants' second World Series championship in three years, Batting Stance Guy created a tribute to the team, contorting himself to impersonate just about every hitter on the team, from World Series MVP Pablo Sandoval all the way through pitcher Barry Zito -- who cashed in an RBI in Game 1. Check it out in the video below.
BEST OF MAXIM
San Francisco Giants pitcher Barry Zito has it all – a beautiful wife, a claim to a World Series ring, childbearing hips (whether he likes them or not) and a ridiculous house that he’s trying to get rid of.
The home is so prestigious that it has a name – Villa Della Place. The main and guest houses have a kitchen, a handful of bathrooms and bedrooms (go figure). But the...
Pablo Sandoval or Kung Fu Panda took home the 2012 World Series MVP award as the San Francisco Giants won their second title in three years by sweeping the Detroit Tigers Sunday.
"It's just an incredible moment you're never going to forget," he said.
Sandoval hit .500 with three home runs, a double and four RBI in 16 World Series at-bats.
Venezuelan fans are celebrating the selection of San Francisco Giants slugger Pablo Sandoval as the first Venezuelan to win the World Series most valuable player award.
Hall of Famer Luis Aparicio sent congratulations on Twitter, calling Sandoval's performance great in the series that ended Sunday with the Giants sweeping the Detroit Tigers in four games.
Aparicio also referred...
Pablo Sandoval practically added his name to the World Series MVP trophy when he clubbed three home runs in Game 1 against the Detroit Tigers, so it was no surprise to hear him named MVP of the Fall Classic after the Giants swept the Tigers on Sunday night.
Sandoval was as deserving as a World Series MVP can get. The two-time All-Star hit .500 (8-for-16) in the World Series with...

I would like to apologize for not being able to post the last couple of days. I went to game 2 of the World Series on Thursday and then watched games 3 and 4 in Los Angeles, so I had no time to update the site. It sure was nice to see all the Giants fans wearing their gear in Dodgers/Angels territory!
The San Francisco Giants have just won their 2nd World Series within a 3-year...
Tweet With their playoff run on life support Barry Zito pitched a 7.2 inning gem to pick up the win in game 5 of the NLCS to keep the San Francisco Giants’ season alive. In the first game of the World Series he was equally as impressive, allowing just one run to the Detroit [...]
It's a good thing that Pablo Sandoval got the World Series MVP or else the team at Next Media Animation would have had a re-write on their hands.Just hours after the San Francisco Giants completed their sweep of the Detroit Tigers, the video of Sandoval, er, a giant panda literally sawing off the head of a tiger while Sergio Romo is cheering him on hit the interwebs. Now, I might...
Now the dust has settled a bit on the Giants World Series title, there’s been a chance to appreciate the turnaround of their higher paid player. When they signed Barry Zito to a 7 year, $126 million contract prior to the 2007 season I’m sure they envisaged him starting the first game of the World Series for a championship winning side and, one way or another, they now got to...
That was quick. The Giants didn't even seem to break a sweat except for some brief extra inning action in game four and anytime Pablo Sandoval was forced to do light jogging. Speaking of Kung Fu Panda, Sandoval took home the MVP and new Corvette after his three homer game one and .500/.529/1.125 series slasher. Of course the Giants won the World Series. They only faced elimination...
Orange-and-black clad hordes flooded the streets of San Francisco on Wednesday for a Halloween Day ticker-tape parade celebrating the 2012 World Series champion Giants.
More than an hour before the start of the parade, thousands of people decked out in Giants gear or Halloween costumes stood 20 deep behind barriers along Market Street.
Kevin Yarbrough stood in a giant white panda...
