Zack Greinke is about to become a very wealthy man. The decision he has is if he wants to be rich in Texas or Los Angeles as the bidding is down to the Rangers and Dodgers, Jon Heyman of CBS Sports reports. But lets not forget the mystery team who could swoop in at the last minute. Heyman has been told that talks are already in the neighborhood of $160mm which seems likely that his dealill w shatter CC Sabathia's deal of $161mm for seven years with the Yankees. The Rangers are focused on Greinke right now and have told Josh Hamilton to wait for a while. But word is the Rangers can not afford both Hamilton and Greinke. In Texas, Greinke would be the ace which brings added pressure, while in Los Angeles, he will be able to pitch behind Clayton Kershaw. Either way, expectations will be high thanks to the potential record deal. Greinke, 29, went 15-5 with a 3.48 ERA, 8.5 K/9, 2.3 BB/9, 0.8 HR/9 and a 3.10 FIP in 212.1 innings pitched for the Angels and Brewers in 2012.
