The right-hander struck out five and walked one. The Dodgers broke camp after the game relieved that there were no major injuries and confident they are ready for the season to begin. Dodgers' roster news as Spring Training comes closer to conclusion

The Dodgers have made a few roster moves this week as the season is set to open on Thursday in San Diego.CutsJosh Bard and Cory Sullivan were released by the Dodgers. Bard was never going to make the team ahead of starter A.J. Ellis and million-dollar man Matt Treanor. There was a tweet during the contract he signed was guaranteed, but that was obviously not the case. Bard was 2...

Comment Of The Day: Designate Chad Billingsley, Put Nate Eovaldi In Rotation

Concerned with Chad Billingsley‘s spring? Me too. Cutting a potential ~4.5 WAR pitcher for a rookie in Nate Eovaldi with six strikeouts and four walks? Sheer genius

Justin Sellers, Josh Fields, Luis Cruz are struggling, battling it out for final position spot

The final spot on the roster for position players will come down to Justin Sellers, Josh Fields, or Luis Cruz. The last position spot on the Dodgers roster has come down to infielders Justin Sellers, Josh Fields and Luis Cruz. After hot starts for each, if you pick by what they’ve done lately offensively, “other”

The move will be made retroactive to Monday, meaning Lilly will be eligible to return on April 10. Lilly is tentatively scheduled to pitch against the NL West rival San Diego Padres on April 14. The veteran hurler posted a 12...

Dodgers Offense Shut Down Again

The Dodgers were held to one run on one hit through 8 innings. Chad Billingsley struggled. Not great timing as opening day looms.

Two noticeable absences on the Great Lakes Loons' 25-man roster

O'Koyea Dickson and Joc Pederson were noticeably absent from the 2012 Great Lakes Loons' Opening Day roster, announced today by the team. The Dodgers' Low-A affiliate in the Midwest League -- a team that featured Zach Lee, Garrett Gould and Angel Sanchez in 2011 -- is not as pitching-rich as last season, but the offense looks better than the '11 squad.However...

Cubs 8, Diamondbacks 3

Arizona's young left-hander Patrick Corbin had a rough ending to what had been a spectacular spring, allowing the Chicago Cubs to hammer out an 8-3 victory Monday. Corbin, who had allowed one earned run in 15 2/3 innings going into the game, gave up seven runs, six earned, and six hits in 5 1/3 innings in the Diamondbacks' final game at their spring training facility this...

Operation Spring Training: Los Angeles Dodgers, San Diego Padres Light It Up.

Baseball in Arizona is like nothing else. I had never been to Spring Training before and had always wanted to see what the fuss was about. If you really want to see baseball as it was meant to be played, go to Spring Training. Stadiums are wonderful. They are like amusement parks for baseball, but they are not intimate. You’re not a part of the action, unless you’re afforded...

Answering that question is tough to do with so many different story lines playing out this season. Instead, I decided to take a look at each team to see what one big thing I could realistically see happening this season. Here is a look at my bold...

Zach Lee's Atrocious Autograph Is Perhaps The Worst Signature Ever.

One of the worst, without question. But for under four clams, I bit. It was a last second decision. He is the Dodgers' top pitching prospect, after all. And it's only my second signature of the young righty. Second of a handful, I hope.

Boys in the Hall: Duke Snider

Note: This is a sponsored post Subway is collaborating with FOXSports.com on a “Boys in the Hall” photo and video series that features interviews with Hall of Fame legends and photo galleries of current players who are Cooperstown hopefuls.
