The Dodgers fell to the Brewers 3-2 in 10 innings on Wednesday at Miller Park in Milwaukee, and the way the game ended may have added another member to the pro instant replay crowd. Milwaukee had the bases loaded with one out against Matt Guerrier in the bottom of the 10th inning when Ryan Braun lofted a fly ball to shallow center field. Matt Kemp caught the ball, then threw home on a bounce to A.J. Ellis. Ellis had to reach for the throw and Morgan was called safe at home, but replays showed Morgan was tagged before he touched the plate. "Having the luxury of seeing the replay, obviously we should still be playing," manager Don Mattingly said after the game. "I guess it's another argument for instant replay." The loss dropped the Dodgers to 9-3, including 1-1 in extra innings. Guerrier, who walked three in the inning, took the loss. NOTES, QUOTES Kemp ties Ethier for RBI lead --CF Matt Kemp drove in a run in the first inning Wednesday in Milwaukee, tying him with teammate RF Andre Ethier for the major league lead with 17 RBI. With 34 combined RBI, Kemp and Ethier have the second-most RBI by teammates through 12 games, behind only the 35 by Lou Gehrig and Bob Meusel of the 1927 Yankees, per STATS LLC. --RHP Josh Lindblom pitched two scoreless frames on Wednesday in Milwaukee, and on the season has not allowed a run in 8 23 innings over six appearances. --SS Dee Gordon stole a base in the eighth inning on Wednesday in Milwaukee, giving him sole possession of the major league lead with eight steals, one more than Emilio Bonifacio of the Marlins and Starlin Castro of the Cubs. --RHP Kenley Jansen, who struck out a major league record 16.1 batters per nine innings in 2011, has 14 strikeouts against just one unintentional walk in his first nine innings this season. --Wednesday's loss in Milwaukee dropped the Dodgers to 5-2 in one-run games on the season. It was the third consecutive one-run contest for the Dodgers and their fifth one-run affair in their last six games. BY THE NUMBERS: 17 -- RBI for both Matt Kemp and Andre Ethier, the MLB co-leaders in runs batted in. QUOTE TO NOTE: "Having the luxury of seeing the replay, obviously we should still be playing. I guess it's another argument for instant replay." -- Manager Don Mattingly, on Nyjer Morgan being called safe on the final play of the Brewers' 3-2 win over the Dodgers on Wednesday.
