Compared to his last 12 games, he has recorded a .408 batting average, four extra-base hits, and nine RBIs. Vladdy also had his best game so far this season, recording four hits in the game against the Minnesota Twins on Saturday evening to come back from behind to beat them 10-8. He recorded four hits, 3 RBIs, and a stolen base. Guerrero has a .272 batting average, four home runs, 19 RBIs, and 41 hits on the season.

Yay For May

Vladdy has been doing amazing so far in May. He has put up good numbers, and in his last seven games, he has recorded a home run, eight RBIs, two walks, a stolen base, and 13 hits. For the Blue Jays to be successful, they need their core players to produce, and having Vladdy shine in games is what the Blue Jays Need. It was encouraging to see the Blue Jays come back from behind and beat the Twins when they were losing 4-0 at one point in the game.

Vladdy has nine hits in his last three games and a hit in 11 of his previous 12 games. It will be interesting to see if Guerrero Jr. can remain hot offensively for the Blue Jays as they look to find ways to win games. Vladdy heating up at the plate is a good sign for the Blue Jays. Driving in runs and boosting his OPS has given Vladdy a lot to smile about. It’s been encouraging to see Vladdy getting hits and not having to go yard to earn runs for the Blue Jays. Yes, Guerrero is a solid home run hitter, but he’s proven that he doesn’t always have to hit home runs to be successful at the plate. Hitting four singles on Saturday showcased that.
