Will Middlebrooks, 2013 Fantasy Sleeper

Will Middlebrooks is the reason the Red Sox felt it was okay to trade away Youkilis. Well, that and the fact that Youk and Bobby Valentine were bickering like they were in the final rose ceremony and Red Sox fans were the Bachelor. "He told me he doesn't love you, and he's only using you so he can be on the cover of People magazine for the next two years talking about...

Xander Bogaerts, Jackie Bradley Jr. Among Red Sox Prospects Participating in Rookie Program (Video)

Sure, the Red Sox are coming off a terrible season. But while the AL East figures to once again be a difficult battleground, there are still plenty of reasons for Red Sox Nation to be optimistic. One reason Boston fans should be excited heading into this season is the surplus of young talent down in the minors. It’s unclear who exactly will make it to the big club in 2013, but...

It’s a new season for the Red Sox, a chance to forget about the last campaign and make some better memories in 2013. It’s unclear whether the Red Sox ever seriously considered Adam LaRoche to be a Plan B, but his contract with the Nationals makes completing a deal with Mike Napoli that much more important for Boston. LaRoche agreed to a two-year contract with Washington on Tuesday, further slimming down an already slim first-base market. The Sox were wise to steer clear of going after the 33...
