According to Sports Illustrated, the Boston Red Sox are interested in signing All-Star free agent Carlos Beltran.

Beltran, 34, hit .300 with 22 home runs and 84 RBIs last season while playing for the New York Mets and later, the San Francisco Giants.
The 2011 season was the first season since 2008 that Beltran had been able to play more than 81 games.
