The Indians fell victim to a rookie left-handed pitcher in Felix Doubront that kept them guessing most of the night. Felix lasted six innings, allowing the lone run on three hits, walking two and striking out five as the Red Sox took the third game of the series 4-1. Zach McAllister, who was called upon to start on short notice for the injured Josh Tomlin, pitched well enough to keep his team in the game, striking out eight and walking none in seven innings while allowing four runs. The Sox added a pair in the third on RBI doubles from Dustin Pedroia and David Ortiz, and Cody Ross added a sixth inning homer. Jason Kipnis accounted for the only Tribe run with a RBI single in the sixth. The Indians look for a split in the four-game series tomorrow afternoon at 1:35 PM as Justin Masterson takes on Daniel Bard.
