Free agent preview: Atlanta Braves

The Braves weren't the best team in the National League this season. But they *were* clearly better than the St Louis Cardinals during the regular season, and yet, they were forced to play the Cardinals in the one game wild card playoff. The Cardinals prevailed, and the Braves playoff run was over after just one game, leading to ire and scorn from the fanbse towards the new playoff...

The end of 2012 baseball, you know. I wish the Braves would hurry up and release Spring Training info so I know which day to look forward to in February. ;) I feel like I should write about the playoffs, or how the World Series ended in a sweep, or how tragic it is that Omar got a THIRD broken bone in the same hand on his last at-bat of 2012. (I miss Omar. Can we have him back?)...

Happy Halloween!

I wake up this morning and for the second year in a row this demon creature is in my house. He looks ready. — Kris Medlen (@KrisMedlen54) October 31, 2012 I love that this is becoming a thing.  Allow me to paraphrase..."OK, he won Halloween last year. If he wins today, it's called two in a row. And if he wins again next year, it's called...
