The Braves optioned the struggling Nate McLouth to Triple A Gwinnett today and activated Brent Clevlen from the disabled list. It has been a struggle the entire season for McLouth and he was only 1-15 since his return from the DL.
They may not be done making moves. Gregor Blanco hasn’t been in Triple A the required 10 days before he can be recalled. Blanco hit .310 in 58 at bats while filling in for McLouth earlier in the season.
