The Atlanta Braves placed reliever Scott Linebrink on the 15-day disabled list Monday with a lower back strain. The move was retroactive to July 30 for Linebrink, who is in his first season with the Braves. He has made 50 appearances this season, going 4-2 with a 2.95 ERA.
