The Atlanta Braves are actively pursing Bud Norris. Norris, 28, is being scouted by a handful of teams in advance of the MLB Trade Deadline of July 31.
Atlanta recently lost Tim Hudson to a broken ankle but should welcome back Brandon Beachy soon. Even with Beachy’s expected return the Braves are looking for some help for their starting rotation.

How much of a upgrade Norris would be for the Braves is debatable with the recent struggles of Kris Medlen.
On the season Norris has a 3.93 ERA and 1.41 WHIP.
