The information that we have all been wondering about just came back from Boston. David Ortiz had MRIs on both heels to find out why he has been struggling to run this Spring. Turns out, the MRI showed heel inflammation in both heels. The good news is that the inflammation is not related to the Achilles, but the Red Sox want Ortiz to stop all activities until the heels heal. Opening Day, which was doubtful for Big Papi before this news, now looks nearly impossible. While this news is not great for the Red Sox or for David Ortiz, we all have to be happy that we now know why Ortiz has been struggling with soreness in his heels, and once this pain goes away, David will go back to preparing himself for the 162 game season.
