Brewers back at home, need two wins

After they managed to take Game Four in St. Louis, the Brewers are back in Milwaukee for the final two games of the NLCS, down three games to two. The Brewers send Shaun Marcum to the mound Sunday night despite his pathetic playoff performance so far. Marcum has an 11.25 ERA and two losses in his starts this postseason. In Game Two of the NLCS against the Cardinals, he allowed five runs in four innings, but improved on his start against Arizona in the NLDS when he allowed seven runs in 4.2 innings.  He will look to turn that around when he goes up against Edwin Jackson, who pitched 4.1 innings and allowed two runs in that Game Two. Perhaps the only positive that comes out of Marcum’s poor performance is that his arm shouldn’t be tired. He threw just 82 pitches in his first start and 72 in his second. If he is able to keep the game manageable and throw at least six innings the Brewers should be in good shape, but practically everyone in the bullpen will be ready to go jus...
