MILWAUKEE With the Triple-A and Double-A seasons over for Brewers' affiliates and rosters officially expanded, the Milwaukee Brewers added fourplayers to their roster on Tuesday morning. Right-handed pitchersWily Peralta, Tyler Thornburg, and Josh Stinson will join the club,as welloutfielder Logan Schafer. All four players are expected to join the teamfor Tuesdaynight's game in Miami. The Brewers active roster now stands at 30, while the 40-man rosterstill has two openings. Peralta, who started the season ranked as the organization's top prospect, will start Wednesday's game at Miami a spot in the rotation that was vacated when Mark Rogers was shut down for the season. Wednesday will mark his first major league start; although, he did join the roster for a brief period to pitch in relief this season, appearing in just one game. At the Triple-A level, Peralta has struggled for the majority of 2012, going 7-11 with a 4.66 ERA in 28 starts. Thornburg who made a pair of starts for the major league team earlier this season, finishing with a 5.79 ERAwill also be in the mix to start a few games before season's end. He was 10-4 with a 3.20 ERA between Double-A Huntsville and Nashville this season. It's unclear whether Stinson, who was the only player called up from Huntsville, will be a reliever or a starter on the major league roster. But after being claimed on waivers from the Mets earlier this season, Stinson tallied a 11-9 record with a 3.16 ERA in Huntsville. He appeared in 14 games as a Mets reliever in 2011, tallying a 6.92 ERA. And as for Schafer, he'll be expected to add depth to an outfield rotation that's included just four players for the majority of the season. For Triple-A Nashville this season, Schafer batted .278 with 11 home runs and 40 RBI, while adding 16 stolen bases. He played in eight games for the Brewers when major league rosters expanded last September, tallying one hit in five plate appearances. Follow Ryan Kartje on Twitter.
