The Winter Meetings are over and the Brewers did improve the pitching staff with the addition of Shaun Marcum. There are many rumors flying around who the Brewers maybe targeting next. Two of those guys seem to be Carl Pavano and even Zac Greinke. Carl Pavano is a decent pitcher at times, but the Brewers will not go past two years on a contract. As far as Zac Greinke goes, having him in the lineup would be great.  In reality though you would have to give up too much to bring him to Milwaukee. The Brewers may not have enough farm system talent and may have to lose a top starter to get Greinke. In the end it looks like the Brewers may just invite some pitchers to spring training and let them try and make the team. Jarrod Washburn is still a guy the Brewers should take a closer look at especially in spring training.
