After being owned by Cincinnati Reds closer Aroldis Chapman for the last three seasons the Milwaukee Brewers experienced some hard-earned success Friday night.
Jonathan Lucroy belted a two-run walk-off home run off the left-handed fireballer to propel the Brewers to a 7-6 victory over their National League Central Division rival in a back-and-forth game at Miller Park.
It was the first career walk-off homer for Lucroy who finished the night 3 for 5 with three runs batted in and two runs scored.
"It feels good" Lucroy said. "He has really good stuff special arm. It just feels good to get the win. We kind of had a rough game throwing the ball. It feels good to get a win hitting-wise."
Cincinnati went ahead 6-5 on a two-out RBI single by Todd Frazier in the seventh inning. It was the third baseman's fourth RBI of the game and it appeared as if it would hold up with Chapman coming into the game.
