It appears Red Sox pitcher Clay Buchholz is making his way back to the starting rotation, though it remains unclear when he'll pitch again.
Buchholz, who has been experiencing some sort of lingering shoulder/trap issue, met with Dr. James Andrews in Florida today to seek a second opinion. Sox medical staffers couldn't find anything wrong with the shoulder, despite Buck's reported discomfort.
Boston Globe scribe Peter Abraham (@PeteAbe) tweeted this earlier:
Dr. Andrews told Buchholz he concurs with diagnosis of #RedSox Throwing program re-starts. No timetable on return yet.
