Waterloo, IA - The Waterloo Bucks, a member of the Northwoods League, have announced the hiring of Patrick Casey as a coach for the 2012 season. Currently, Caseyis an assistant coach at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. UST is an NCAA Division III program, members of the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

A native of Richfield, Minnesota, Casey has been an assistant with St. Thomas since 2008. In his time with the Tommies, they have posted a 137-49 record including a 64-14 mark in conference play. Casey has been a part of four MIAC Conference Championships, four NCAA Regional appearances, and won the 2009 National Championship. Casey is the program's Recruiting Coordinator and is in charge of catcher development.
