Wilin Rosario – Rosario is who we thought he was. Plenty of power, but a long swing and well below average plate discipline. Over the last week or so, however, Rosario has been on fire, hitting well over .300 with two home runs in his last six games. Just like any hot streak for any player, the sample size is too small to draw from, but the overall body of work is telling. Rosario has struggled mightily against right-handed pitching this season, hitting only .218/.250/.423, which in and of itself will limit his value. Until he improves his pitch recognition, Rosario will continue to be a valuable catcher for his power, but also one that fails to deliver much of anything in the AVG/OBP categories.

Paul Goldschmidt – After a slow start to the season, Goldschmidt has gone on a tear of late, getting a hit in 14 straight games and adding five home runs to his stat sheet in the process. The problem is that overall Goldy has been a bit fortunate in terms of his .360 BABIP. That being said, the power numbers should continue to hold strong, as that part of his game has been prominent throughout his career. Now is a good time to sell high, as his AVG should fall a bit, but if you could use the power, he’s worth holding onto.
