It’s 2009 and the Yankees have questions with their starting rotation once again.  Chien Ming Wang is back on the D.L. and with an ERA still close to 10, that is not necessarily a bad thing. With the trade deadline approaching, Brain Cashman has some work to do if he wants to keep his job with the New York Yankees. Recent free agent signing disasters such as Kevin Brown and Carl Pavano have caused the Yankees to endure a nine-year World Series Ring drought. With all the money at Cashman’s disposal, this is unacceptable.  The Yankees new strategy since George Steinbrenner gave majority control of the team to his son, Hank, has been to attempt to develop their young talent. There have been some bright spots like Robinson Cano and the potential of Joba Chamberlain seems limited only by a pitch count.
