C.C. Sabathia is (officially) listed at 290 pounds, but, clearly, he was a bit bulkier when he donned the pinstripes last season. Now, looking a little more trim than he did this past October, the New York Yankees ace has a simple reason for his new look."No Cap’n Crunch," the 32-year-old told reporters Tuesday.  "I worked out every day, just made sure I watched what I ate." If this all sounds familiar...it should.  This isn't the first time he's turned his back on the S.S. Guppy and its skipper. Two seasons ago, when Sabathia came to camp down 25 pounds, he made the same claims about ditching the breakfast cereal.  At the time, the lefty claimed to eat a "box at a time" or, 15 times the recommended serving size of the crunchy kernels.Ouch.
