Contrary to what many people anticipated, CC Sabathia did not opt out of the remainder of his contract with the New York Yankees.  Instead he agreed to an extension which essentially adds up to a five year/$122 million deal.  I’ll give some more details and opinion a little later in the week when I don’t have to study my butt off for accounting.
