CC Sabathias agent requested a meeting with the Yankees. Hours later he requested another meeting. The following day CC left to go back home to San Francisco. The next day CC called up Brian Cashman and asked him to fly to California to meet with him, and his wife. When Cashman came home he revealed the news that CC was ready to sign. The deal is worth 161 million dollars over 7 years which would total out to be 23 million a year the largest deal for a pitcher in major leage history. The deal also has an opt-out clause after the 3rd years which gives CC some flexibility in his Career. The deal will be finalized after CC passes his physical early next week, the press confrence will be held 2-3 days later. This deal will give the Yankees the power arm ace they have lacked.
