I've heard it a million times...all athletes want to be rockers and rappers and rockers and rappers want to be athletes.

Tuesday in Cincinnati was no different as the Red Hot Chili Peppers invaded Great American Ball Park.

"Dude, that was great," bassist Flea told the media. "Shagging balls in the field was almost just as fun as hitting and fouling the balls right into the net. Me and Dusty (Baker) had a closed-door meeting about me playing for the team."

The Hall of Fame rockers were in town for a concert and, apparently, are friends with fellow rocker, Cincinnati Reds pitcher Bronson Arroyo.

"Chili Peppers were obviously a huge group in the '90s, along with Pearl Jam and Stone Temple Pilots," the righty said. "To get to hang out with these guys and take BP with them is definitely one of the top things on my list of unforgettable moments."

And in case you were wondering...no. No one from the Chili Peppers hit one out of the park.
