ATLANTA -- After posting double-digit wins for the first time in 2012, Braves starter Mike Minor still has an opportunity to hit the 10-win plateau before the All-Star break this season. That's the type of improvement Atlanta has seen out of the young left-hander during the first half of the season -- not to mention his second-half run last year. But the question of whether Minor has done enough to warrant an All-Star nod has hit a speed bump in June, as his numbers (while still quality) have taken a dip, especially in his last three games. His ERA has jumped up 50 points after giving up at least three runs in each of those starts, including back-to-back outings of allowing nine hits. That's not the same Mike Minor that was 7-2 with a 2.48 ERA at the end of May. He is 1-1 with a 4.20 ERA in June. And while an 8-3 record does not discount him from consideration by any means, the Chopcast team -- Zach Dillard, Cory McCartney and Jay Clemons -- discuss whether or not Minor is still on an All-Star route, as well as other Braves news and notes. Here are a few of the highlights: -- With the National League's roster of quality starters, where does Minor fall on the All-Star spectrum? With a month to go, does he make the cut? -- What changes would you make to the All-Star game? Should it settle home-field advantage for the World Series? Should it be held in the middle of the season, or at the end? -- Who are the other Braves All-Stars? -- How pivotal is the stretch run for the Braves? As the Diamondbacks (and Martin Prado) come to town for an action-packed weekend? Is there anything to glean from the Julio Teheran-Randall Delgado matchup? SUBSCRIBE SOCIAL
